Capacita Youth Center (CYC) is a non-profit association based in Denmark.
We work to strengthen young people’s human skills, such as resilience, judgment, collaboration, and agency, so they can navigate life, learning, and work in an increasingly complex and digital world.
We approach youth development from an educational, preventive, and practice-based perspective, focusing on capacity-building rather than diagnosis or treatment.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support young people in developing the capacity to act, make decisions, and participate meaningfully in society, without burning out, disengaging, or becoming dependent on rigid systems.

We believe that young people need more than tools or information.
They need space to practice judgment, self-regulation, collaboration, and responsibility in real-life contexts.

The organisation is politically and religiously neutral and operates in accordance with its statutes and governance framework.
The association is governed by a Board and operates in alignment with Danish association law and public-benefit principles.
